Description of Business:
- IT Infrastructure Assessment - This will be the primary service offered and will include assessments and recommendations on network and data security as well as optimization of hardware and system software configurations. This service will be primarily be led by a Technical Director from IUPUI.
- Business Process Assessment ? This will initially be a secondary service and will involve the identification of workflows and enabling software that can be used to improve the efficiency of the business operation. This will involve areas like ERP, CRM and accounting. This service may be performed independently but is more likely, at least initially, to be done in partnership with a local IT consultant.
- Spin-off Opportunities ? The Infrastructure Assessment service listed above will typically represent the major focus of the IT Assessment Center. The Assessment Center staff will also be open to serendipitous IT opportunities that aren?t mission critical but could translate well into student projects and would also provide a clear benefit to the company. These opportunities by definition will be varied and will include such areas as Web site enhancements, small graphic projects and small database applications.
